On 6/3/2014 the Labor union and the Board for Women’s Advancement (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) held a meeting to celebrate the International Women’s Day 8-3 and the year of Hai Ba Trung’s uprising 1974.

Attending the meeting were Mrs. Dang Thi Bich Lien - Deputy Minister, and around 500 women represented for administration units under the ministry. A talk with topic “Women with office culture and family happiness” was delivered by Mr. Phan Quoc Viet from Tam Viet Company. Mrs. Dang Thi Bich Lien and Mr. Nguyen Huu Gioi (Labor Union’s Chairman) also delivered welcome speeches.

The VNMH’s female officers have received the Awards from the union for their excellent achievements in working and social activities. They also got the first runner award in the flower art contest.

From 18 May 2019, the exhibition “Treasures of the Red River. Archaeological Collections from the Museums of Vietnam” will be running in the Winter Palace’s Halls of the History of Ancient Writings. It is being timed to mark Ho Chi Minh’s birthday and the days of the city named in his honour.

The revolutionary historical relic, the Chi Ne Money Printing Factory located in Lac Thuy district, Hoa Binh province was ranked as a National Relic Complex in 2007 by Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. By there, the first Vietnamese paper currency was printed in 1946 - 1947. The complex includes 3 relic units as the main house of Chi Ne plantation, the money printing factory and the money store.
