The Vietnam National Museum of History and the National Research Institute of Maritime Heritage of Korea engaged in discussion on research collaboration and surveys of traditional Vietnamese boats

On the afternoon of March 9, 2026, in Hanoi, the Vietnam National Museum of History (VNMH) welcomed a delegation from the National Research Institute of Maritime Heritage of Korea (NRIMH). The delegation was headed by Mr. Hong Sun Jae, researcher from the Department of Maritime Heritage Research. The meeting focused on plans for surveying and researching traditional boats of Vietnam’s ethnic communities.

Launching the thematic exhibition “Spring - The Dawn of Victory” at the Vietnam National Museum of History

On the morning of January 6, the Vietnam National Museum of History (VNMH), loacated at 216 Tran Quang Khai Street, Hanoi, held the opening ceremony of the thematic exhibition “Spring - The Dawn of Victory”. The event commemorates several significant national milestones: the 80th anniversary of the first General Election of the Vietnamese National Assembly (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2026), the 85th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s return to Vietnam to lead the revolutionary movement (January 28, 1941 - January 28, 2026), the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2026), and welcomes the upcoming 14th National Congress of the Party.
