Museums go digital to survive pandemic

Activites of the Vietnam National Museum of History under the “New Normal” condition

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all over the world and across all fields and activities, especially tourism. As a corollary, the Vietnam National Museum of History - a famous destination of Vietnamese tourism - has been also heavily affected. According to the Vietnam National Museum of History's figures on the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak, the number of visitors dropped by 93 percent compared to before the pandemic. This is a massive loss for the museum in terms of promoting the nation's historical and cultural values.
