Vietnam has been speeding up international exchange and integration during its country renovation and development.
By promoting internal strength, Vietnam is looking forward to receiving the support and co-operation from outside, especially Japan. The Communist Party and Government of Vietnam have paid attention to the development, conservation and promotion of cultural heritages and cultural exchange with Japan. Both Vietnam and Japan have attached importance to cultural exchange in order to increase their image and prestige to the world. Cultural exchange events that have been organized in the last few years especially in 2013 (year to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Vietnam - Japanese diplomatic relations) helped to increase the mutual understandings and contributed to the friendship and relationship between Vietnam and Japan and their people.
