On 16/1/2014, the opening ceremony of the exhibition “The culture of Japan” was held at the Vietnam National Museum of History, 25 Tong Dan.
This activity is to celebrate the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan (1973 - 2013) and done under the collaboration between VNMH with Japanese Cultural General Dept and Kyushu National Museum. Some marginal activities were accompanied such as Japanese Tea ceremony, introducing Japanese traditional cake.
The exhibition is opened for visitors from Jan 16 up to March 9, 2014.

Attending the ceremony were representatives from Japanese Embassy in Hanoi (Mr. Fukada Hiroshi - Ambassador), Japanese Television (Mr. Kawanishi Keiichi - President), Japanese Fund (Mr. Inami Kazumi - Director), Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Mrs. Dang Thi Bich Lien - Deputy Minister), museum curators, journalists and media organizations…

The exhibition will introduce around 70 objects from VNMH and Kyushu National Museum, providing a general view on the cultural history of Japan and the cultural exchange relationship and friendship between Vietnam and Japan.
