On Jan.18, 2014, the Fukuoka City’s Authority will organize a fair called “Cool Japan Fukuoka in Hanoi” at the National Museum of History.

This fair is held to introduce cultural activities of Fukuoka young people including fashion shows, digital displays like cartoon shows, picture stories, games…, and landscapes of Fukuoka, by that, to promote cultural exchange between Fukuoka and Hanoi. This event is organized at the time of the exhibition of “The culture of Japan” held at Vietnam National Museum of History by the collaboration of Japanese Cultural General Department, Kyushu National Museum and VNMH.

Welcome to “Cool Japan”, let’s find the Fukuoka specialties and experience the fun.

- Opening ceremony: Jan.18 (Sat) - Jan.21 (Tue)

- Exhibition: Jan.18 (Sat) - March.9 (Sun)

  1. Venue: Vietnam National Museum of History, 25 Tong Dan, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi
  2. Organizer: Fukuoka City’s Authority
  3. Main activities:

- Fashion show: Hanoi Models catwalk for Fukuoka brands

- Painting class for Manga picture stories with Fukuoka teachers

- Nails and hair with Fukuoka stylists

- Short films by Fukuoka producers

- Exhibition of Manga paintings in original copies

- Exchange between Vietnamese and Fukuoka enterprises
