An overall view
Mr. Nguyen Van Doan - VNMH Deputy Director addressed a Corporate Report to review 2013 and a mission plan for 2014. In 2013, VNMH has made achievement in many aspects, for example, it held successfully the 4th ANMA Conference (Asian National Museum Association), and many temporary exhibitions such as “Vietnamese Ancient Lamp”, “Vietnamese Buddhist Culture Heritage”, “Vietnamese Ancient Jewelry”, and “Asia- the colorful cultures”. It also held successfully mobile exhibitions such as “Vietnamese Maritime Culture” in Lang Son Museum (Lang Son province). Especially, the success of the oversea exhibition of “Vietnam - the great story” in Japan has been highly appreciated by Vietnamese government, local and foreign community.

Regarding to the number of visitors, VNMH has received 200.000 turns of visitors (visitors to the museum is 95.575 people, to the domestic mobile exhibition is 23.785 people, and to the exhibition in Japan is 70.000 people).
With such above results, it has received the Award of Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism for its excellent achievement in organizing important events.
