This year to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh, the Library of Vietnam National Museum of History respectfully introduce to readers a publication titled “Ho Chi Minh – Selected articles & speeches 1920 – 1967”
Ho Chi Minh, President of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, celebrated his 79th birthday on May 19, 1969. For over fifty years he has been active in the revolutionary movement – in France, in China, in the Soviet Union and in Vietnam. The speeches and articles in this book constitute only a small proportion of his published work. They have been chosen to cover the main periods of his life and political activity from 1920 to 1960, and to serve as an introduction and, it is hoped, as an encouragement to further study, of the work of this outstanding revolutionary.
This book included 39 speeches and articles, such as: Speech at the Tours Congress of the French Socialist Party in 1920, Congratulatory Letter on the Victory at Dien Bien Phu in 1954 and Reply to President Lyndon B. Johnson in 1967, etc.
The Library of Vietnam National Museum of History would like to inform readers!
