To celebrate the 90 years of the discovery and research on the Dong Son culture, the Vietnam National Museum of History present the catalogue dedicated to the Dong Son culture's collections of objects secured and preserved by the museum.

Through many years, the Vietnam National Museum of History has made many efforts to study, excavate and collect objects and documents of Dong Son culture. With around 10.000 objects of Dong Son culture, it is said to be the world's largest collection of Dong Son culture.

The catalogue introduces various artifacts of Dong Son culture such as the bronze drums (Ngoc Lu, Mieu Mon, Tho Vuc, Thanh Vinh...), bronze domestic wares and weapons, jewelry, ceramic and porcelain, stone and glass. Through this catalogue, you will see how the Dong Son people lived, how they were able to make equipments and conquer the nature. Also from this, we can understand why Dong Son culture was considered one of the most glorious civilizations of the ancient Vietnam and of the world.
