Second excavation of the site of Nghia Lap

The site of Nghia Lap is situated at the hamlet Nghia Lap, commune of Nghia Hung, huyen of Vinh Tuong, province of Vinh Phuc. The site has suffered a first excavation at the end of 1967. After a general study of the site and of the vestiges, the authors have classified Nghia Lap in the culture of Phung Nguyen, dating from the beginning of the bronze age.

Excavation at the Giong Lon site

Giong Lon site is in Rach Gia 3 village, Long Son island commune, Vung Tau city. It is a sanbank in the coastal salt-marsh region and extendes the East-West direction with lengthern 1000m, large: 100m. The geographic coordinate between 10 o 27’73 Northern natitude and 107 o 04’002 Eastern natitude far from N o 51 avenue about 4km in the Northern, far from Ganh Rai bay 10km in the Southern and far from Vung Tau city 7km in the Southeast.

Excavation at Da Kai site

Da Kai site is at No 3 village, Da Kai commune, Duc Linh district, Binh Thuan province. It was discovered in 1981 and excavated in 1998. Through excavation, this site was known as a circular earthwork site and was also one of very small number of sites in Vietnam where discovered stone musical instrument.

Excavation at Xom Ren archaeological site in 6th time

Pemited by Culture and Information Ministry, National Museum of Vietnamese History coordinated Culture and Information Department and Museum of Phu Tho province excavated Xom Ren archaeological site in 6 th time, from late November to 20 January, 2006. There are 8 excavated and explored holes in the Northern, Weastern of site with square 73,62m 2 were recovered.
