Lately, at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Minister Hoang Tuan Anh has had a working session with the Administration Committee of exhibitions of the National Museum of Vietnamese History.
After the report of Pr Dr Luu Tran Tieu on the preparation of exhibitions at the National Museum of Vietnamese History, and certain advices of the direction of ministries and functional services, the Minister has had conclusions on the following questions:
- Continue to consolidate, to maintain the permanent and independent activities of the National Museum of Vietnamese History and of the Museum of the Vietnamese Revolution as usual. Confide to the National Museum of Vietnamese History the establishment of the project of the new Museum of Oriental Art on the architectural basis of the National Museum of Vietnamese History. The Museum of the Vietnamese Revolution will construct the project of creation of the Museum of Contemporary Art on the architectural basis of the Museum of the Vietnamese Revolution.
- Approve the creation of the Administration Committee of exhibition projects of the National Museum of Vietnamese History.
- The Administration Committee has the task of establishment of exhibition projects of the National Museum of Vietnamese History, comprising the financial plan, the detailed project of the contents of exhibition, the establishment of the exhibition scenario, of the exhibition project, seeking for aid from foreigner specialists on the technics of exhibition.
- The National Museum of Vietnamese History and the Museum of the Vietnamese Revolution will continue the collection of specimens for the exhibitions of the National Museum of Vietnamese History, of the Museum of Oriental Art and of the Museum of Contemporary Art.
- Intensify the formation of the workers of the museums, as well in the country as abroad, so that when the National Museum of Vietnamese History will begin working, we will dispose of a whole gang of qualified specialists.
