It is a great project, covering 18ha with rather new ideas of cultural space.
1. The quarter to the memory of Nguyen Du, the square Nguyen Du and the Thuy garden.
2. The space of the novel Kieu.
3. The space of Nguyen Du.
4. The cultural space of Tien Dien.
5. Nguyen Du’s tomb.
6. The religious spaces and other cultural places.
7. The commodities of tourism.
8. The community space of the commune of Tien Dien.
On the 20/7/2007, the project has been presented to receive the advices of the scientists of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. It is the 4th time, after the project has been revised, on the basis of the advices received in the 3 first times. However, under the open and sincere presidence of Vice-Minister Tran Chien Thang, the scientists have given many advices to the project. They are:
- The name of the project must be unique, as it has been ratified by the government, i.e. : Cultural touristic quarter Nguyen Du.
- The titles and the purpose of the objet must be more clear.
- The planning has foreseen far before the perspective of strong urbanization of Ha Tinh, but the cultural spaces must be studied carefully before being realized.
- The cultural space must be long-sighted, and take into account the immaterial culture, the culture of the natal village which has raised the great writer.
- The project must consider investment sources. It must estimate to its value the touristic reality of the place in relation with the region and its potentialities for the coming years, in order to attract investments.
- One must also place the writer Nguyen Du in the same world as other famous persons of other countries to attain at equilibrium and harmony.
There are still many other opinions on the scientific character and the precision in the details of the project. The Vice-Presidenr of the People’s Committee of Ha Tinh has noted them and will have them be applied in the correction of the project, in order that the project be ratified in the shortest time, according to wishes of the leadership and the population inside and outside the province.
