VNMH’s delegation attended the 2nd China Archaeological Conference, 2018

The second Chinese Archeological Conference took place October 22-24, 2018, with the participation of about 400 Chinese and international experts and scholars. Two Vietnamese delegates were MSc. Nguyen Manh Thang and Dr. Truong Dac Chien. The conference was organized by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in collaboration with the Sichuan Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology in the capital of Sichuan province, Chengdu.

Signing ceremony of the memorandum of understanding between VNMH and National Museum of Laos

VNMH signed exhibition agreement with the State Hermitage Museum (Russian Federation)

On October 5, 2018 at the State Hermitage Museum, Saint Petersburg, Russia, Dr. Nguyen Van Cuong – VNMH’s Director and Professor. Mikhail Piotrovsky, director of the State Hermitage Museum, signed an exhibition agreement between the VNMH and the State Hermitage Museum.

Special exhibition “The Dragon-Phoenix on Treasures of the Nguyen Dynasty”

VNMH received precious artifacts from Germany

In the afternoon of August 9, 2018, the VNMH held a ceremony to receive 18 artifacts from the Embassy of Vietnam in Germany. These artifacts were seized by the Berlin Police Crime Prevention Agency at a Vietnamese merchant's shop in late 2016.
