On November 26, 2009, on the Royal Visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, The Princess of Thai Lan, Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a visit to National Museum of Vietnamese History. After one hour (9.30 to 10.30 a.m), The Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn accompany the delegate of 100 students visited the Museum with much interested in Vietnamese history
On November 26, 2009, on the Royal Visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, The Princess of Thai Lan, Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a visit to National Museum of Vietnamese History. After one hour (9.30 to 10.30 a.m), The Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn accompany the delegate of 100 students visited the Museum with much interested in Vietnamese history.
On be half of The National Museum of Vietnamese History, Doctor Vu Quoc Hien, Deputy Director accompany the staff of the Museum welcome The Princess and the delegate and guieded them around the Museum to help them to get knowledge about the long time history and culture of Vietnam through the artifacts. This is also the occasion for renewing the relationship between the Embassy of Thailand in Vietnam.
After the tour, The Princess left her good impression on the guest book of the Museum.

From 18 May 2019, the exhibition “Treasures of the Red River. Archaeological Collections from the Museums of Vietnam” will be running in the Winter Palace’s Halls of the History of Ancient Writings. It is being timed to mark Ho Chi Minh’s birthday and the days of the city named in his honour.

To be agreed by leader of The Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism of Vietnam, National Museum of Vietnamese History task force came to Japan, in order to attend the Cultural Lecture Meeting, to commemorate the opening of the Consulate-General of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Fukuoka and “Hanoi Vietnam Fair” was held in Kyushu National Museum, from October 8 to 12, 2009.
