Dear readers,

One year has elapsed. We who are responsible of the page of Informations, we always wish to furnish the most informations possible to our readers. Last year, we have received many prooves of confidence; each day, more and more people are interested in our news and log in our website and have many good contributions to improve the contents and the form of the page.

2009 is a very important year for the activities of the National Museum of Vietnamese History. As you know, our main function is to prepare the contents for the National Museum of Vietnamese History. It is a very important function which needs contributions from the readers.

We hope to receive constantly your precious recommendations, so that the contents of the exhibitions of the National Museum, as well as the contents and the form of the website will be more and more rich and alive.

In the occasion of the Tet of Ky Suu 2009, we have the pleasure to announce the time table of holidays of the Museum.

The Museum will be closed during two days: Sunday 25-1 and Monday 26-1-2009, i.e. the last day of the past year and the 1st day of the New Year Ky Suu. The Museum will be open normally on the other days.

The Museum is open from 8h to 16h30 in all days of the week.

We wish you all a prosperous and safe New Year.

From 18 May 2019, the exhibition “Treasures of the Red River. Archaeological Collections from the Museums of Vietnam” will be running in the Winter Palace’s Halls of the History of Ancient Writings. It is being timed to mark Ho Chi Minh’s birthday and the days of the city named in his honour.

Signature of the programme of cooperation Vietnam - South Korea

On the 22 th of December 2008 in the morning, has taken place solemnly the ceremony of signature of agreement of cooperation on archaeological exploration between the National Museum of Vietnamese History and the National Museum of South Korea. It is one of the consecutive cooperations agreed by the Ministries of Culture and Sports of the two countries since 2006 on the study, cultural exchanges and other relative domains. In three years of cooperation, the two museums have successfully realized many study visits and organized an exhibition at the National Museum of South Korea in 2008.
