On the occasion of the Southern Liberation Day (30/4) and the Labour International Day (1/5), a special exhibition: "Secret from Lung Leng site, Kon Tum province" will be displayed in National Museum of Vietnamese History (Ha Noi) by National Museum of Vietnamese History combines with Culture and Information Departement of Kon Tum province.

On the occasion of the Southern Liberation Day (30/4) and the Labour International Day (1/5), a special exhibition: "Secret from Lung Leng site, Kon Tum province" will be displayed in National Museum of Vietnamese History (Ha Noi) by National Museum of Vietnamese History combines with Culture and Information Departement of Kon Tum province.


The excavated work at Lung Leng site (Sa Binh commune, Sa Thay district, Kon Tum provice) was found out a huge of antiques in the flooded area in hydroelectric YaLy in 1999 and 2001. Nearly thousands stone tool, ceramic piece and burial jars, stoves were discovered. Collection of object Lung Leng site is one of the historical and value documents for research and help us understand the complete picture about the prehistoric period in Kon Tum province.





On the occation of the great holidays in 2006 such as Cultural Ceremony of the Tay Nguyen gong, which is the international culture heritage and welcome the success of 10th - Party Congress, Culture and Information Department of Kon Tum province and the National Museum of Vietnamese History co – ordinate to display the exhibition named: The secret of Lung Leng site (Kon Tum province) at National Museum of Vietnamese History, No 1 Pham Ngu Lao street, Ha Noi.


This exhibition will be opened on 30th April, 2006 and finished in the middle of August, 2006.

On July 1-2, 2026, the Vietnam National Museum of History (VNMH) in collaboration with Da Lat University and Japanese conservation experts, organized a professional training workshop on the conservation of waterlogged wooden artifacts by the Trehalose method. The workshop serves as an important preparation for the project "Conservation of Ancient Waterlogged Boat in Vietnam by the Trehalose Method", while promoting the application of advanced conservation technologies for Vietnam's cultural heritage.

On 4 October 2006, an workshop was hold in the hall of National Museum of Vietnamese History by The Cultural Department cooperate with The Wallionie-Bruxelles delegation in the cooporative programe of The Vietnam Culture & Information Ministry and The Belgian Community talking French (Wallionie-Bruxelles region).
