The Vietnam National Museum of History would like to announce that:


From Monday, September 1, 2025 to Wednesday, September 3, 2025, the Vietnam National Museum of History will offer free admission to all visitors in celebration of the national holiday.

The schedule is as follows:

- Morning: from 8am to 12pm
- Afternoon: from 1.30pm to 5pm  
To celebrate this significant historical event, the Vietnam National Museum of History will host a special exhibition titled “Popular Education - Lighting the Future”. The exhibition will be held at the museum, located at 216 Tran Quang Khai Street, Hoan Kiem Ward, Hanoi, from August 22, 2025 to December 2025.

From 18 May 2019, the exhibition “Treasures of the Red River. Archaeological Collections from the Museums of Vietnam” will be running in the Winter Palace’s Halls of the History of Ancient Writings. It is being timed to mark Ho Chi Minh’s birthday and the days of the city named in his honour.

On the morning of July 24, 2025, Deputy Minister Hoang Dao Cuong chaired a mid-year meeting with the leaders of museums and heritage sites under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. This meeting took place at the Vietnam National Museum (VNMH) of History in Hanoi.
