On the morning of June 3, 2025, the Vietnam National Museum of History (VNMH) had the honor of welcoming and working with the delegation from Defence Collective Singapore (DCS), headed by Mr. Darren Ler, Deputy Chief Executive Officer.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Nguyen Van Ha – Deputy Director of VMMH, along with managers from the Preservation, Exhibition, and Collection Departements, as well as staff from the Communication and External Relations Department.

The Defence Collective Singapore (DCS) is a museum and education organization dedicated to sharing Singapore’s defense history through interactive exhibits and educational programs. It manages several military museums and aims to promote awareness of the importance of national defense in Singaporean society.
During the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Ha expressed his pleasure in welcoming the delegation on their first visit to the museum. Leaders from both sides disscussed their intention to foster professional exchanges and mutual engagement in the future.
The DCS delegation was interested in the museum’s exhibition model and exchanged professional experiences related to artifact preservation, particularly solutions for dealing with the hot and humid tropical climate, which is a common environmental feature of both countries.

After the meeting, the DCS delegation visted the museum's exhibition and engaged in discussions with Vietnamese experts on artifact preservation in the storage area.
