At the invitation of H.E.Mr. Pham Minh Chinh, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and his spouse, Japanese Prime Minister H.E.Mr. Ishiba Shigeru and his spouse paid an official visit to Vietnam from April 27 to April 29, 2025.
As part of the official program, the Vietnamese and Japanese Prime Ministers and their spouses visited the Vietnam National Museum of History (VNMH). This museum is a unique and historically significant architectural landmark in the heart of Hanoi and houses valuable documents and artifacts that showcase Vietnamese history from prehistoric times to the present.
Before touring the museum's exhibitions, the two Prime Ministers and their spouses, along with members of the delegation enjoyed breakfast in the garden of the VNM.

Following the welcome, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his spouse fomarlly invited the Japanese Prime Minister and his spouse to tour the museum.

During the visit, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his spouse invited the Prime Minister of Japan and his spouse to explore the VNMH.
Mr. Nguyen Van Doan, the Director of the VNMH, provided an introduction to the museum’s exhibition building to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his spouse.
The Vietnamese and Japanese delegations also took a group photo in front of the museum as a memento of the occasion.
This meaningful visit takes place shortly after Vietnam and Japan officially upgraded their bilateral relationship to a "Comprehensive Strategic Partnership for Peace and Prosperity in Asia and the World."
