The Vietnam National Museum of History would like to announce that:
 
During the Lunar New Year Holiday, the permanent exhibition of Museum will be closed from January 25, 2025 (the 26th day of the twelfth lunar month) to January 29, 2025 (the 1st day of the first lunar month). The museum will reopen to welcome visitors starting from January 30, 2025 (the 2nd day of the first lunar month).

The schedule is as follows:

 - Morning: from 8am to 12pm
- Afternoon: from 1.30pm to 5pm

From 18 May 2019, the exhibition “Treasures of the Red River. Archaeological Collections from the Museums of Vietnam” will be running in the Winter Palace’s Halls of the History of Ancient Writings. It is being timed to mark Ho Chi Minh’s birthday and the days of the city named in his honour.

On the morning of December 31, 2024, at the Can Tho Museum, the Vietnam National Museum of History in collaboration with the Can Tho Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held the conference to announce the preliminary results of excavation at Thanh Trung site.
