On April 21, 2026, the Vietnam National Museum of History (VNMH) hosted a working session with the Korea Heritage Service, on the occasion of the Sate visit of the President of the Republic of Korea to Vietnam. The Korean delegation was led by Chairman Huh Min, accompanied by Mr. Lee Eun Seok, Director of the National Research Institute of Maritime Heritage (NRIMH) and other members. They were received by Mr. Nguyen Van Doan, Director of the VNMH together with Mr. Nguyen Quoc Binh, Deputy Director, and heads of the Museum’s specialized departments.
On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory and the signing of the Geneva Accords (1954 - 2024), the thematic exhibition titled “Điện Biên Phủ - The Immortal Spirit” was launched at the Vietnam National Museum of History (VNMH) on the morning of April 25th, 2024.
