During the Tet holiday, the Vietnam National Museum of History (VNMH) has been opened for visitors since the second day of the lunar calendar (February 11, 2024). The Museum's activities have been carried out seriuously, and at the same time documents and artifacts have been guaranteed to be absolutely safe as well.

In the joyful atmosphere of welcoming the New Year, the VNMH held a Lunar New Year meeting with officials and employees on the sixth day of the lunar calendar (February 15, 2024).

At the meeting, Dr. Nguyen Van - Director of VNMH sent warm wishes to all officials and employees on the New Year. By 2023, with the attention of the leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism as well as and the solidarity of VNMH’s Board of Directors, officials, and employees, the Museum achieved good results in implementing political, professional tasks and union activities.

Based on the direction of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's leaders and the key tasks set for 2024, the director hopes that all officials and employees make more efforts to complete excellently all tasks.
The meeting took place in a solemn and cozy atmosphere. It marks the beginning of a new year with more success.

From 18 May 2019, the exhibition “Treasures of the Red River. Archaeological Collections from the Museums of Vietnam” will be running in the Winter Palace’s Halls of the History of Ancient Writings. It is being timed to mark Ho Chi Minh’s birthday and the days of the city named in his honour.
