Following the Official Letter No.21/CĐ-UBND on October 13th 2021 of the Hanoi People’s Committee on continuing to implement strict measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19 epidemic and based on the current situation:

The Vietnam National Museum of History would like to announce to welcome visitors again from October 14th 2021.

The museum is open every day (except Mondays for cleaning, disinfection and other prevention measures).

 

- Morning: From 8:00am to 12:00am

- Afternoon: From 1:30pm to 5pm

 

Requirements for visiting the museum:

- Wear your mask before entering and during the visit.

- Check your body temperature, wash your hands with antiseptic solution and scan the QR code before entering the museum.

- Follow the instructions of the museum’s staffs to ensure a safe distance.

- Strictly implement epidemic prevention measures under the guidance of the Ministry of Health.

In the system of Vietnamese museums, the Vietnam National Museum of History (VNMH) is the place that preserves the largest number of national treasures. Recently, the VNMH has just given the public an opportunity to contemplate in detail the quintessence of each treasure in an interactive 3D virtual exhibition. It’s a program of applying modern technology that has been carried out by the museum for years. This is the first time for visitors to enjoy and discover 20 national treasures with a lot of meaningful messages thanks to a new technological approach.
