At the end of the visit, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc wrote his feelings: “I was very impressed when visiting the exhibition of Vietnamese ancient cultures displaying artifacts of cultures such as Dong Son, Sa Huynh, Dong Nai and Oc Eo culture.
It is an honor and a pleasure when nearly 300 ancient Vietnamese cultural artifacts are displayed for the first time with the best art masterpieces of Russia and the world at the State Hermitage Museum, St. Petersburg, Russian Federation. This is an opportunity for Russian and international friends to better understand the rich and diverse cultural heritage treasure of Vietnam, contributing to further tightening the relationship between the Vietnamese people and the Russian people.
I highly appreciate the initiative and efforts of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vietnam National Museum of History, which has actively coordinated with the Russian side to organize this exhibition on the occasion of Vietnam year in Russia and Russia year in Vietnam 2019-2020.
Wish the Exhibition of Ancient Vietnamese culture a success!”
