In the framework of the 4th Conference of ANMA,Vietnam National Museum of History (VNMH) has organized for delegations attending ANMA 4 visit some historical sites and traditional trade villages of Vietnam in Hanoi . The deligations were divided into 2 groups according to two programs. Program 1: visiting Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam historical site and Vietnam National Museum of Fine Arts and Vietnam Museum of Ethnology. Program 2: visiting Imperial Citadel of Thang Long and trade village of Bat Trang pottery.

In program 1: In the morning, Ph.D Vu Manh Ha -  the Deputy Director of VNMH took the delegation to historical sites of Hanoi : Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam and Vietnam National Museum of Fine Arts. The staff at monuments Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam enthusiastic guided and introduced the history of construction; steles of Ph.D,The shrine at Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam ...

Next, Mr. Do Quoc Vietnam -The deputy Director of Vietnam National Museum of Fine Arts welcomed delegation and staff of this museum took them to system of display.
In the afternoon, the delegation visited Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, visit the permanent exhibition in the building “Trong Dong”, introduced 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam with many artifacts  in the daily life people. Especially, the fabrics of the nation, such as archives , skirt , scarf ... was decorated with the various traditional techniques; conductivity, musical instruments made ​​of bamboo; ritual artifacts... Along with artifacts, exhibition’ room in also has photos, film material reflecting all aspects of tangible culture and intangible culture, the character  in the life and creativity of the peoples.

In Program 2 : The delegation was led by Ph.D. Nguyen Dinh Chien - Deputy Director of VNMH undertook and guided . The director of  Imperial Citadel of Thang Long - TS . Nguyen Van Son welcomed and presented souvenirs and guided delegation visiting in whole region as well as exhibitors. The delegation also visited the work of the Politburo and the military commission of the party central committee D 67 in war against American, visited the office of top – ranking general Vo Nguyen Giap.

In the afternoon, the delegation visited the village of Bat Trang pottery - Gia Lam district , Hanoi. At here, under the guidance of Ph.D. Nguyen Dinh Chien - the Deputy Director of VNMH,  the delegation was heard a brief overview of the history of Bat Trang pottery village, then visited two ceramics production site of two  famous artists Vu Duc Thang and Tran Do.

Mr. Lin Feng - Deputy Director  of Museum of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Guangxi , China after watching the ceramic work,  has expressed his desire of invited artists to display and  introduced Bat Trang ceramic in the exhibition of museum in 2014 . After one day tour, delegation learn more about the cultural heritage and culture of Vietnam.

.In the October 9th and 10th, .2013 Vietnam National Museum of History took the delegation attending the 4 th conference of ANMA to the airport under the flight was registered .

From 18 May 2019, the exhibition “Treasures of the Red River. Archaeological Collections from the Museums of Vietnam” will be running in the Winter Palace’s Halls of the History of Ancient Writings. It is being timed to mark Ho Chi Minh’s birthday and the days of the city named in his honour.

Tonight October 7 th, 2013, Vietnam National Museum of History held a party to welcome the distinguished guests, the representatives of National Museum from countries attending the 4th conference of ANMA. The party took place at the exhibition hall No. 1 Trang Tien.
