On afternoon April 5 th, 2013, Vietnam National Museum of history (VNMH) celebrated the present of Volunteer Club and certificated volunteers in 2013.

Attending the ceremony were the comrades of the Board of directors, the managers of departments of VNMH and volunteers. Activity of 75 volunteers who come from the University of Hanoi on phase I in 2013 showed that the students really love and appreciate the historical and cultural value of nation. They contributed to propagate and promote image and activity in the forms of writing, construction of clip and propaganda….effectively.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ph.D Vu Manh Ha - Deputy Director VNMHstressed Volunteer club of VNMH would be an ideal place for pupils, students has an good opportunity to learn about the history and culture through museum exhibits, to talk and communicate with reputable historian of Vietnam, to strengthen their language skill through historical and cultural exchange activity with volunteers and foreign visitors go to the Museum. Besides, they also have an opportunity to train and practice the soft skill such as presentation, communication, leadership, organization, group activity... VNMH will creat good condition to people who love Museum especially pupils, students to have a useful playground, to meet and exchange knowledge of history, culture and participate in the program, events take place in the near future ..

Nguyen Thi Ngan, the Student of University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Hanoi represent for volunteers shared: After a month participated in volunteer activities in VNMH, time is not much, but she felt like respecting the student’s time, has more new friends, brothers, sisters, acquires valuable experience ,knowledge of history, national culture and actively introduced heritage to the public.
