40 years ago, on January 27 th ,1973, in the capital, Paris (France), "Agreement on ending the war and restoring peace in Vietnam", for short the Paris Agreement on Vietnam signed

This is the result of heroic struggle tirelessly for independence and national unity of the Vietnamese people in the war against America. Paris Agreement was a tremendous victory on the diplomatic front, marked a new development of my country's revolution. The U.S. was forced to withdraw troops from Vietnam. It created favorable conditions for our people continue to promote liberation of the South, reunification in 1975.
On 40-year anniversary date of the signing of the Paris Agreement (01/27/1973 - 27/01/2013), Vietnam National Museum of history opens exhibition "Paris Agreement 1973 – Brilliant mark of Vietnamese revolutionary diplomacy “introduced more than 70 pictures which are stored in the museum. They are presented in two themes:
- The failure of the U.S. in the Vietnam war.
- The victory on the negotiating table.

Through these images are introduced, contributes to promote the values of the image Data, training, education, inspire pride in the spirit of indomitable resilience, independent liberty, his national heroic traditional of Viet nam.
The exhibition is open on January 25th 2013 in the first floor lobby display, 216 Tran Quang Khai Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi.
