On the morning of May 9th, Dr. Nguyen Van Cuong - Director of the Vietnam National Museum of History welcomed and worked with the representative of Embassy of Hungary in Vietnam, Mr. Áron Balázs - First Secretary in charge of Culture, Education and Press on cooperation in the field of culture between the two countries.

At the meeting, Mr. Áron expressed his deep interest in the Vietnam National Museum of History and proposed to support in the process of establishing cooperative relations between the Vietnam National Museum of History and Hungarian Museum of History. He also emphasized the importance of the two nations’ culture and education as well as wished to strengthen the cooperation and mutual understanding.

He said that the two nations’ Ministry of Culture have discussed and agreed to sign a cooperation agreement in the field of culture and education. It is expected that the signing ceremony will take place in the autumn of 2017. The cooperation between the National Museum of History and the Hungarian Museum of History is one of the specific plans and should be implemented in the near future.

Responding to the goodwill of partner, Director of the Vietnam National Museum of History agreed with this proposal and giving a sincerely invitation to the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Embassy of Hungary in Vietnam to come and visit the Vietnam National Museum of History.

This is a new opportunity to establish a network of foreign partners, expanding international relations and promote Vietnam's heritage, culture and people to Hungary - a new partner of the Vietnam National Museum of History.
