Exhibition "International support for Vietnam's struggle for reunification 1954-1975"
On the 40th anniversary of the liberation of South Vietnam and the reunification of Vietnam (30/4/1975-30/4/2015), Vietnam National Museum of History would like to launch a special exhibition called "International support for Vietnam's struggle for reunification 1954-1975".
The exhibition contains two parts:
1. People from over the world supported Vietnam in the struggle for the reunification of Vietnam 1954-1975: showcasing around 130 pictures, documents and objects related to the support given by almost 50 countries from continents of Europe, Asia, Africa, America and Oceania to Vietnam during 1954-1975.
2. International organizations, international conferences and courts that supported Vietnam for its reunification during 1954-1975:
This part exhibits almost 30 pictures, documents and objects of international organizations including: World Peace Council, International Students Association, International Democratic Lawyers Association, World Democratic Youth Union, World Labor Union Federation, International Democratic Women Federation and United Committee for Asia, Africa and Latin America, Committee for International Lawyers... International conferences including International Labor Conference, International Labor Union Committee Conference and World Peace Council..., and international courts in Sweden, Japan, Denmark, France and Germany...
Also showcasing several propaganda posters issued by Soviet, Cuba, Sweden, Finland, Hungary, Italy and Germany... that supported for Vietnam's struggle before 1975.
The exhibition will open at 9h30, April 24, 2015 at Vietnam National Museum of History, 25 Tong Dan, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi.
