To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the liberation of South Vietnam and national reunification (30/4/1975 - 30/4/2015), Vietnam National Museum of History (VNMH) will hold a witness talk called "40 năm - Mùa xuân đại thắng" (40 years - a great victory in the spring) at 13h30, 17/4/2015, at VNMH's meeting hall (25 Tong Dan, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi).

The witnesses of the talk will be Lieutenant General and Hero of the People's Armed Forces Duong Cong Suu and Sergeant Ngo Sy Nguyen - the gunner number 1 on the tank number 390. The talk aims to educate young people and help them understand about the history and the worth of the victory that had to pay by difficulties and even blood of our fathers.
Also at this occasion, VNMH will launch a temporary exhibition called “Nhân dân thế giới đoàn kết với Việt Nam trong đấu tranh thống nhất đất nước 1954-1975”. (The world showed solidarity with Vietnam in the struggle for the national reunification 1954-1975). The exhibition will review the international supports for the struggle of Vietnam to reunify the country. The exhibition will be opened at 9h30, 24/4/2015 at 25 Tong Dan, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi.
