Cuban Foreign Minister visited the VNMH Museum

In the morning of 11/9/2014, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla visited the VNMH Museum during his visit to Vietnam from 9 to 12/9/2014.\

The VNMH Museum's staff have received the guests and guided them on visiting the exhibition system, introducing about Vietnamese history and culture. Within one hour, he has got to know about a Vietnamese culture of imbued with its national identities and showed his admire to the brave and united Vietnamese people, especially the struggle to fight for the independence and building the country.

Ended the visit, the Minister expressed his pleasure and he wished there will be more visits to each other and more co-operations in the field of culture that might contribute to strengthen the tie of the two countries.

On July 1-2, 2026, the Vietnam National Museum of History (VNMH) in collaboration with Da Lat University and Japanese conservation experts, organized a professional training workshop on the conservation of waterlogged wooden artifacts by the Trehalose method. The workshop serves as an important preparation for the project "Conservation of Ancient Waterlogged Boat in Vietnam by the Trehalose Method", while promoting the application of advanced conservation technologies for Vietnam's cultural heritage.
