After the August Revolution in 1945, the program of "Land Reform" was an element of Vietnamese People Democratic Communist Revolution to demolish the feudal land ownership and landlords, and redistribute the land to poor peasants.
With the aim of providing public documents and materials and true perspective about the Land Reform in Vietnam during 1946-1957; the VNMH Museum is going to launch a temporary exhibition entitled "Land Reform 1946-1957". The exhibition will introduce over 150 documents and objects related to the land reform program in 1946-1957. It will contain two parts of exhibition:
Part 1: Villages in Vietnam before the land reform
Part 2: Land Reform 1946 - 1957
Many unique objects and documents will be showcased at the first time.
The exhibition is organized under the collaborations between the VNMH Museum and Reserved Department of Central Party, Government Office, National Assembly, Thai Nguyen, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, Hung Yen museums.
The exhibition will be opened in the morning of September 8, 2014 at the Temporary Gallery, 25 Tong Dan, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi.
