In the afternoon of 18/7/2014, the VNMH Museum organized a ceremony to end the training course hold for guardian and security staff.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Nguyen Van Doan - Deputy Director of VNMH Museum, Colonel Duong Van Cu, Vice Head of A83 Department, head and vice of museum divisions and whole trainees.

76 trainees have been awarded certificates, with 35 excellent and 38 good and 3 average rankings.

The training course has provided a chance for guardian and security staff to raise the knowledge and skills used in their professions.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Van Doan highly appreciated the dedicated working style of lecturers and trainees performed through the course. He wished the VNMH Museum to be continued to open further courses in the future.

From 18 May 2019, the exhibition “Treasures of the Red River. Archaeological Collections from the Museums of Vietnam” will be running in the Winter Palace’s Halls of the History of Ancient Writings. It is being timed to mark Ho Chi Minh’s birthday and the days of the city named in his honour.

On July 11, 2014, an opening ceremony to launch the special exhibition called “Ancient Civilization in Vietnam, the Early Morning in Red River” was held at the Jeju National Museum, South Korea. This is the upcoming showcase after the first launching at the National Museum of Korea in Seoul (28/4-29/6/2014).
