On 12/3/2014, the Vietnam National Museum of History’s Youth Union Unit held a meeting to celebrate 83 years of establishment of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (26/3/1931-26/3/2014) and respond to the year of young volunteers 2014.

The meeting has been implemented under the collaboration of the Vietnam National Museum of History’s Youth Union Unit, the General Department of Sports and Recreation’s Youth Union Unit, The National Library’s Youth Union Unit, the Vietnam National Villages for Ethnic Culture and Tourism’s Youth Union Unit in Dong Mo, Son Tay, Hanoi.

Attending the meeting were Mr. Trinh Ngoc Chung, Youth Union’s Secretary of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr. Vu Manh Ha - Deputy Director of VNMH, delegates and members of the above youth union units.

On behalf of youth union’s members, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huu - VNMH Youth Union Unit’s Secretary has reviewed the glorious tradition of youth union in the last 83 years and expressed the willingness to meet the targets. After the meeting, the exchange programs were organized. The youth union units also visited K9 relic and Minh Quang B primary school in Ba Vi, Son Tay.

From 18 May 2019, the exhibition “Treasures of the Red River. Archaeological Collections from the Museums of Vietnam” will be running in the Winter Palace’s Halls of the History of Ancient Writings. It is being timed to mark Ho Chi Minh’s birthday and the days of the city named in his honour.
