Pursuant to Circular no. 170/2013/TT-BTC dated 19/11/2013 issued by Vietnam Ministry of Finance on the fee tariff, collection, payment, management and use of fees for admission to Vietnam National Museum of History.

Exhibition of Vietnamese history in ancient - middle age (no.1 Trang Tien, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi)

From Jan.06, 2014 VNMH will charge admission to the exhibition systems at no.1 Trang Tien (Vietnam in ancient - middle age) and 216 Tran Quang Khai (Vietnam in modern and contemporary time) as follows:

  1. Adults: VND 40.000/person
  2. Students from universities, colleges: VND 15.000/person
  3. Children, students at 6 - 16 years of age: VND10.000/person
  4. No admission fee if you are:

- Children under 6 years of age

- Severely handicapped people (under Vietnamese law)

  1. Get 50% discount for old people, disabled and people get social policies (under Vietnamese law)

From 18 May 2019, the exhibition “Treasures of the Red River. Archaeological Collections from the Museums of Vietnam” will be running in the Winter Palace’s Halls of the History of Ancient Writings. It is being timed to mark Ho Chi Minh’s birthday and the days of the city named in his honour.
