With the intention of exposing Vietnamese ancient jewelries to students who are studying at social subjects, a talk focused on “Finding out Vietnamese Ancient Jewelries” was held by VNMH on 20/10/2013.

Dr. Ngo The Phong – former Head of Research - Collection (VNMH) was the inviting lecturer at the talk. Officers of Information and Communication (VNMH), students of Hanoi University of Social Science and Humanities, Hanoi Cultures University, VNMH’s volunteers and reporters attended the talk. This is a monthly activity made by VNMH.

By this talk, VNMH wishes young people understand more about the development and beauty of ancient jewelries and their mean to the ones in modern time. From that, a further comprehensive view and assessment shall be made to the ancient jewelries - a unique cultural heritage of Vietnam.

From 18 May 2019, the exhibition “Treasures of the Red River. Archaeological Collections from the Museums of Vietnam” will be running in the Winter Palace’s Halls of the History of Ancient Writings. It is being timed to mark Ho Chi Minh’s birthday and the days of the city named in his honour.

In the framework of the 4th Conference of ANMA,Vietnam National Museum of History (VNMH) has organized for delegations attending ANMA 4 visit some historical sites and traditional trade villages of Vietnam in Hanoi . The deligations were divided into 2 groups according to two programs. Program 1: visiting Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam historical site and Vietnam National Museum of Fine Arts and Vietnam Museum of Ethnology. Program 2: visiting Imperial Citadel of Thang Long and trade village of Bat Trang pottery.
