OnThe morning of April 15th, 2013, National Museum Kyushu, Fukuoka, Japan hold the opening exhibition "Vietnam - great story."
This is one of the activities in the program of cooperation between Vietnam National Museum of History and the National Museum Kyushu, Japan,in the period 2011 - 2015, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relation between Vietnam - Japan (1973-2013).

With over 300 documents, artifacts selected from the museums, relics: VietnamNational Museum of History,Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, Han Nom Research Institute, Heritage Center Citadel of Thang Long-Ha Noi , relic Conservation Centre Hoi An, the National Museum of Philippine, museums and relics in Japan. Exhibition is an opportunity to introduce traditional history and culture of Vietnam to Japanese people.

Artifacts in exhibition are valuable, unique collection, belong to the big culture of Vietnam, such as the Dong Son culture, Sa Huynh, Oc Eo - Phu Nam ... One of collections are Nguyen dynasty artifacts with many precious antiques (gold, silver, pearls ...), especially many exhibits shows the relationship, long exchange between Vietnam and Japan.

Exhibition officially opens at the National Museum Kyushu, Japan, from now until June 2013.
