On the afternoon of April 5th,2013, Deputy Minister of Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism Dang Thi Bich Lien visited and worked with Vietnam National History Museum (VNMH). Attending work also Deputy Director of the beruau of heritage Ministry of Culture, Cultural Heritage Nguyen Huu Toan.

Exchanging about the meeting content, Deputy minister Dang Thi Bich Lien wanted to listen, capture, share and exchange in order to remove the difficulty and problem of Vietnam National Museum of History to complete the duty and plan in 2013.

On behalf of steering committee Ph.D. Nguyen Van Cuong brief the situation of VNMH, human resources, artifacts, infrastructure facilities, the key task in 2013 about the activities of the museum. Director also proposed that the leader of minister consider and concern more to organise Annual Conference of the 4th conference of asian national museum association at Vietnam National Museum of history in October, 2013 work on display; work on collecting artifacts for the museum by archaeological excavation; priority on building centre at the museum: Research and excavation of archaeology Center, Library and Information centre; sharing, collaborative professional guidance in the preservation, Website activity and enhance technical equipment and a number of other activities ....

After listening Director of VNMH reporting activities of the museum as well as the recommendation, Deputy Minister Dang Thi Bich Lien recorded VNMH is a unit which has traditional work well for many years; many groups and individuals stry to finish their task, improve education constantly, there are many activities and relationship within and outside the country; introduced to promote the image of Vietnam. On that basis,VNMH not only practises duty, but also is one of the many units supporting to museum of the national museum system. She also gived and proposed some solution to solve difficulty for museum such as the project to build the plan and detailed plan of reorganization in the department, center, the staffing plan, as construction paper and centers of expertise in museum rooms and enhance equipment, interested in security work, ensuring absolute safety artifacts and antiques, as well as asset existing VNMH; continue to develop collaborative relationship with other countries: Japan, Korea ...; planning, strategic staff training, arrange, rearrange, using , maximum exploitation of two sites of the museum today, as well as building the overall planning, detailed planning of the facility's two museums immediately and in long-term
Besides work which able to answer immediately, some early work can not be solved, Deputy Minister will report with the leadership of Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism to give method to solve on the basis of creating favorable condition and reasonable to develop Vietnam National Museum of History.
