Following the activities in the cooperative program between the Wallonie-Bruxelles Region (Belgium) and the Vietnamese goverment in 2010-2012 about raising the professional activities of the Museum in preservation and restoration of Vietnam museums’ heritage. On April 3rd 2012 , the class which learns preservation of paper material was opened. It was hold from April 3rd 2012 to April thirteeth 2012.

Thirty students from Museums of three regions: North, Centre, South have attended this course such as: Vietnam National museum of history, Military history museum, Vietnam Museum of ethnology, Ha Tinh museum, Vietnam Fine arts museum, etc.
This is an opportunity, to further enhance the professional skills in the preservation and restoration of museum exhibits in general and the particular kind of paper. In addition, there are classes where the work of museums can communicate, learn, exchange knowledge and mutual professional
This is a good chance of improving specialist skill in the prevation and restoration of museum’s exhibit in general, especially paper. Besides, this course is the place where the staff of museums can study, exchange profesional knowledge together.
Through this course we see the enthusiastic support of Belgium, we also hope more cooperative programs will be hold in the future to preserve the cultural value of nation.
