The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Vietnam National Museum of History visits Nho Quan Nursing Center for Wounded Soldiers in Ninh Binh on the Day for Martyrs and Wounded Soldiers, July 27, 2013.

On July 27, 2013, The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Vietnam National Museum of History has visited Nho Quan Nursing Center for Wounded Soldiers, Ninh Binh province. This activity is to promote a Vietnamese tradition of “Uống nước nhớ nguồn” (when you drink the water, remember who dug the well) on the 66th anniversary of Day for Martyrs and Wounded Soldiers and to review our father’s splendid time in the national protracted revolution.

Cooperative program about surveying ancient trade port of Central area between Vietnam National Museum of History and Korean Research Institute of Marine Cultural Herritage.

Implementing collaborative research program between Vietnam National Museum of History and Korean Research Institute of Marine Cultural Heritage from May,3th to May,11th,2013, a group of researchers of the two units conducted a survey five ancient trade ports in some provinces in central area of Vietnam including Lach Truong port (Thanh Hoa), Hoi Thong port (Ha Tinh), Thanh Ha - Bao Vinh port (Thua Thien - Hue) , Da Nang port (Da Nang), Hoi An port (Quang Nam).

MEXICO CITY.- The National Institute of Archaeology and History (INAH) is promoting the Mural Painting Conservation Project in Teotihuacan. This project is taking place in situ and in archives, indeed a tremendous labor, as Ph.D. Maria Teresa Uriarte affirms, “it’s not wild to state that this ancient city was one of the most decorated (with murals and paintings) of the ancient world.”
