On the morning of August 14, 2017, the seminar The Marks of French Culture in Hanoi led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Xanh, former lecturer in History Faculty at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, took place at the Vietnam National Museum of History at No. 1, Trang Tien Street, Hanoi.

Attending the seminar were VNMH’s managers, staff, and some guides from travel companies in Hanoi who have often guided their tours at the VNMH. This was an intensive training program organized regularly by the VNMH to improve the VNMH staff’s skills.

At the seminar, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Xanh presented French cultural marks in Hanoi with six aspects: city planning, architecture, urban transportation, printing-house and publications, behavioral changes in Hanoi cultural heritage and formation of urban life. The seminar supplemented knowledge and improved professional skills for the VNMH’s staff.
