The book was compiled and published by the National Museum of Vietnamese History and the Ho Chi Minh City Museum of History to introduce the prehistoric issues in Ho Chi Minh City through archaeological sites studied and excavated for many decades, especially since the national reunification in 1975.



The book was compiled and published by the National Museum of Vietnamese History and the Ho Chi Minh City Museum of History to introduce the prehistoric issues in Ho Chi Minh City through archaeological sites studied and excavated for many decades, especially since the national reunification in 1975. This work significantly contributes to the research on the prehistory in South Vietnam in general and Ho Chi Minh City in particular.

The appendices include many photos, illustrations and drawings.
