Participants of the opening ceremony included Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hoan - Deputy Director of Vietnam National Museum of History, Mr. Phung Quang Thang - Director of Hanoitourist Corporation, representatives of press and television agencies in Hanoi and visitors. Mr. Phung Quang Thang and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hoan shared with the public about the implementation process and the meaning of the tour "French architecture in the heart of Hanoi”. This tour combines traditional sightseeing with the application of automatic narration technology through scanning a QR code.

Joining the tour, visitors have a chance to explore the famous architectural works of Hanoi while walking on the streets. The first destination starts from the Vietnam National Museum of History. Visitors can  admire and learn about the architecture of the VNMH’s building as well as three precious national treasures. They are Ngoc Lu bronze drum, Golden Books and Seals - the treasures symbolising the supreme power of the Nguyen Dynasty’s Kings, the last feudal dynasty of Vietnam. During the tour at the Museum, visitors can also experience an application of automatic narration. This is an useful application not only for visitors in the “new normal” safe tour, but also suitable for visitors to visit freely (without museum guides).

Visitors are also taken to the Hanoi Opera House and the historical relic of Tonkin Palace. Through explanations with rich and fascinating information, they can learn about the architectural, artistic and historical values of these two works. These are not only typical and famous architectural works of Hanoi but also places associated with important historical events, which is the General Uprising to seize power in Hanoi during the August Revolution in 1945.

Through the three destination tour, visitors have a grandstand view to identify and compare the remarkable values of the architectural works and styles, as well as Vietnam - Western acculturation in the early twentieth century. The objects displayed in the Vietnam National Museum of History are also connected to destinations from the perspective of architecture and historical events.
